2014 National Research Success
BACP National Research Conference 2014
During the 2 years of study on the HPD in Counselling our students engage in a Sub-Group Research Project which spans an eighteen month period. LC&CTA encourages its students to share their research at national level and sponsors its successful students to present at the Annual BACP National Research Conference which is held in various parts of the country, during May each year. LC&CTA students have successfully had numerous research papers accepted for presentation at this Conference since 2006.
We were very happy to announce the success of two, 2nd Year L5 HPD in Counselling, student sub- groups who were accepted to present their Research Papers at the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) National Research Conference 2014.
This was the 9th year running that sub-groups of our students have been selected to present research at this important professional conference and we congratulate our 2014 candidates (now qualified counsellors) on their achievements:
Research Paper/Poster Presentation: ‘Person-Centred Therapists’ Experience of Working with Rape Victims Presenting with Symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder’
Research Paper/Poster Presentation: ‘Person-Centred Counsellors’ Perspectives on the Effectiveness of the Approach When Working with Children Suffering from the Symptoms of Depression’
