Terms of Enrolment
REVIEWED ANNUALLY BY THE BACP. NEXT REVIEW JULY 2026
80% Punctuality and 80% Attendance at all course sessions and any sub-sessions.
Attendance on any compulsory Residential Weekend attached to my course.
Submission of all course assignments by their agreed due date to the standard required; as stipulated and outlined in the Course Handbook.
I also understand that I may incur additional fees if my assignments are submitted after the due date at the charge of £50-70 to mark un-negotiated late assignments.
Attending any Personal Counselling 1:1. as required by the course.
Acting in accordance with LC&CTA's published guidelines for conduct.
Adhering to LC&CTA's Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures.
Adhering to the BACP Code of Ethics for Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy.
Progressing any complaint I have with LC&CTA in accordance with its Complaints Procedure; as outlined in the Student Welcome Pack.
Paying my fees on time in accordance with my Fee Payment Plan; I also understand that I am liable for the entire course fee if I withdraw from the course early or I am asked to leave the course due to a breach in LC&CTA's Code of Conduct.
Understanding that a non returnable application processing fee is included in the cost of the Course: £75.00 - £100.00 depending which course I am enrolling on.
I also understand that refunds are never given if I have started the course and that the course fees are always pursued, as above.
Understanding that if Fee Payments are late, a fee of £12 will be charged.
Certification, Assessment and/or Assessment Results will be withheld by LC&CTA until my fees are paid in full.
I also understand that if my Fee Payment Plan is not adhered to I lose the privilege of paying my fees by Payment Plan and that my entire course fees become payable immediately; I also understand that I may have to pay for any future courses in full on enrolment.
I understand that if I do not comply with the above terms and conditions I may be asked to leave the course, that I may not pass the course, or may be held back from progressing to other courses or years.
